Such a great time was had that Rock has longed to return to Hugo Tanghe's art haven ever since. On Saturday, June 4, 2022, beginning at 7:30pm, that time has arrived. Cat String Theory (Myke Rock, Jose Cash and Stan The Man - USA) perform a concert at Galerie MixArt and bring up special guest Kloot Per W, backing him on a number of hand-picked delicacies of rock, art-rock and underground music. This Art & Music Salon Concert event also features the dynamic artwork of Mister Per W, currently displayed in the gallery. The event begins at 7:30pm. It's free to enter and tips and donations are accepted by the band.

Kloot Per W

The former EMI and Mercury labels recording artist has built up an impressive discography through the decades with The Misters, The Employees (Pick It Up), Polyphonic Size, De Kreuners, and De Lama's, among others and of course numerous releases under his own name. Of historic importance, this severely unique and accomplished Belgian icon has been kicking out palpable, meaty, indie/underground collections of songs for decades. From the beautiful and moving to the splendidly powerful -and with ease- singing in English, French and Flemish, alike. You get it all, in a quirky, craveable Flemish fireball. Guitarist, singer and writer Kloot Per W (Kloor Perwez) is an unprecedented centipede from simplistic avant-pop, indie and underground rock to crossover Belpop. His latest release is with Achiel Keppens and Emilie Blom with the band Cromwell, whose EP has garnered Netherlands' Album of the Year, as released on the British label Jesus Factory Records.
