Dirty Red Sunshine (Patrick Thomas Bolich, Myke Rock/Myke Rock, Erik Diaz, Keith Blair, Jimmy Droz filling in for John Widner) bring their crowd-pleasing, essential, top classic rock and jam supreme, making their Park Street Tavern (501 Park St, Columbus, Ohio USA) debut on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, beginning at 10:00pm. Join bandleader, lead vocalist and guitarist Patrick Thomas Bolich of Hott Lucy, filling in for Toast guitarist John Widner is Jimmy Droz of the Jimmy Droz Project, keyboardist extraodinaire Keith Blair, former Willie Phoenix, Ray Fuller and the Bluesrockers, Belgian recording artist Kloot Per W, and Jamal Thomas (SOS Band, Maceo Parker) bassist Myke Rock, and drummer Erik Diaz, who was the drummer for Hot Tuna with Rock-N-Roll Hall Of Fame recording artists Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Bruce!
DRS finds that the band's line-up has a predisposition to the jam. Rock/Jam music is the mainstay, but the stretching and contorting extentions of lead sections, gives the band ample opportunites to jam. Dirty Red Sunshine takes full advantage of these moments, making for some excellent, in-the-moment interplay.
