CAT STRING THEORY (USA) THE HEAVY WEIGHT, EUROPE TOUR 2022

Bass player Myke Rock lived in Belgium from January 2018 through June 2020, performing through Europe with recording artists like guitarist Kloot Per W (Per W/Pawlowski, The Misters, The Employees, Polyphonic Size, De Kreuners, The Belpop Bastards...), guitarist Mauro Pawlowski (Evil Superstars, dEUS, Per W/Pawlowski), and drummer Jamal Thomas (SOS Band, Maceo Parker, Chuck Leavell -Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton-, Jamal Thomas Band, Fred Wesley -James Brown, Maceo Parker-...) among others, is excited to reunite with friends, fans and Europe's rock and blues music lovers.

Hailing from the east coast, Philadelphia area of New Jersey, USA, Bill Roseman arrived in Belgium in 1990 and helped form the Medford Slim Band. This band released 2 CDs and appeared at many festivals, including the Amsterdam Blues Festival and the Belgium Rhythm & Blues Festival in Peer. Later, during this period, Roseman played with the Calvin Owens Blues Orchestra and was in Luke Walter Jr.'s solo group before his untimely passing.

Over the years, Roseman has performed across Western Europe in Benelux, France, Germany, Austria and the UK, not to mention "back home" on the US east coast, including New York City and Philadelphia. Roseman's career was borne out of a hotbed of varied influences. A musical odyssey that continues to this day, flourished. Deeply inspired by the immediacy expressed by electric blues guitarists like T -Bone Walker, B.B. King, Albert Collins and Buddy Guy, Roseman set out on a venturesome course that results today in what you get when taking in an appearance, show or his recordings. Several nods to early rock-n-roll as well as blues, soul and R&B in the flavors of Freddie King, Little Walter, Otis Redding and Sam & Dave, gifting an always entertaining, crowd-lifting experience.
